Paying for school can be difficult for working adults who want to further their education. At Mountaire, we value education. That’s why we offer tuition reimbursement for full-time employees who want to further develop their skills. Mountaire will reimburse up to $6,000 annually for courses that are part of a degree, licensing, or certification program that is related to the employee’s current job duties or a reasonably foreseeable future position within Mountaire.
An inspiring example of our employees accomplishing their goals is Denise Showell, Environmental and Engineering Administrative Assistant, who promised her husband before he passed away from leukemia that she would return to school. After their adopted triplets graduated high school, Denise fulfilled that promise. Utilizing Mountaire’s educational assistance program, she proudly walked across the stage to accept her degree in 2020, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in organizational management from Wilmington University. She did all that while working full time, holding down a part-time job during tax season, and fulfilling her obligation as office administrator for her church.
