Mountaire provides six paid holidays and two floating holidays to our regular full-time and part-time employees. The recognized holidays that Mountaire observes include:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
The Salaried Vacation/PTO plan is as follows:
80 hours after 90 days
120 hours after 5 years
160 hours after 15 years
200 hours after 25 years
The Hourly Full-time vacation/PTO plan:
Service Time
40 Hours 91 to 180 days*
40 Hours 181 days to less than 1 year
80 Hours 1 to 9 years
120 Hours 10 to 19 years
160 Hours 20 to 24 years
200 Hours 25 + years
* unused hours will roll forward for this category only, provided that, if you leave employment with Mountaire prior to the 181st day of employment, whether voluntary or involuntary, you will forfeit any unused vacation/PTO time.
