We’re excited to announce a brand-new scholarship program aimed at helping students interested in careers that help feed the world. As the last few years have shown, the food industry is an important part of our essential businesses that help keep us healthy, safe, and fed.

Introducing the Farm to Table Scholarship

This scholarship will help students interested in agriculture, culinary arts, and food service to pursue a college degree and achieve their dreams of finding a career that matters.

Now expanded to North Carolina! 

In North Carolina, Mountaire is partnering with local schools, agriculture programs and culinary programs to find nominees each month from September to June. Each winner will take home a $2,000 scholarship and be invited to a Farm to Table banquet at the end of the school year to celebrate. Two overall winners will be announced then and presented an additional $5,000 scholarship to pursue their career goals. Interested applicants should apply online below. On Delmarva, WBOC and Mountaire Farms will select one Delmarva high school senior every month from September through June. Each winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship and will be featured on WBOC-TV and FOX21. Two of the monthly winners will receive an additional $5,000 scholarship at the end of the program, during a dinner banquet where all the winners and their families will be invited to celebrate their accomplishments. Criteria

Be nominated by an educator or school representative (must include letter of reference; multiple letters welcome)
Attach a copy of transcript
Resume/other supporting documents encouraged but not required
Maintain a B average or better
Be a graduating senior at a school
Be an active participant in agriculture or culinary programs
Exhibit community leadership (volunteerism, extracurriculars, etc.)
