Our employees each have their own stories, their own reasons for choosing to work at Mountaire Farms. We want to share them with you, because it’s our people that make Mountaire so special. Meet Travis Tirrell, a Shift Manager in Millsboro.

Travis planned to put his environmental engineering degree to use after college; luckily for him, Mountaire has that option available if he decides to do that. After going through the Management Trainee program (where he spent 50 weeks learning the business through a wide array of departments), however, he knew he wanted to explore other opportunities. He spent time in Human Resources before settling into processing roles, and he hasn’t slowed down yet. Now a shift manager on day shift, he loves the chance to be strategic and competitive when faced with new challenges.
