Mountaire offers a few different options when it comes to medical plans for employees depending on their needs. And those needs can change, such as after the birth of a child, so it’s important to review the benefits every year and make necessary changes during open enrollment at the end of the year.
For those employees enrolled in any Mountaire medical plan, all visits to the Mountaire Health and Wellness Centers are FREE, along with some laboratory testing and prescription drugs.
In Plan A, employees pay a $40 co-pay for in network primary care office visits. This plan covers 80 percent of in-network costs, and 50 percent of out-of-network costs, after the deductible is met. The deductible is $700 for individuals and $2,100 for the family plan. The employee portion of this plan costs $78.16 for individuals or $205.11 for the family semi-monthly.
In Plan B, only in-network benefits are provided. Office visits are covered at 70 percent after deductible. This plan carries a $1,600 deductible for individuals and a $4,800 deductible for families. The employee portion of this plan costs $31.25 for individuals or $74.26 for the family semi-monthly.
In both plans, prescription drug co-pays are $15 for generic drugs, 25 percent of the cost up to $45 of preferred drugs, and 40 percent of the cost up to $65.
