All four processing plants have an on-site Health & Wellness Center available at NO COST to our employees and their families, including children as young as two years old, who are enrolled in one of our medical plans. Each location is operated by Premise Health and staffed by a doctor or Nurse Practitioner, an RN, and Medical Assistants. Some services include treatment of chronic illnesses and injuries, routine medical exams, vaccinations, lab work, limited on-site medications, support and referral services for mental health and substance abuse and more. Same-day appointments and walk-ins are available but appointments are preferred. Hourly employees are paid up to one hour for attending an appointment at a Mountaire Health & Wellness Center.
