Representing Mountaire in the Public Square

Working with Mountaire’s senior management, the Communication and Community Relations Department is taking the lead to help create and implement a strategic approach for the corporation at the state and national level. This strategy integrates all key stakeholders, including various departments and the executive team, state government entities, Congress, and administrative agencies. Together, we work to ensure policies and regulatory impacts enable Mountaire to remain innovative, and competitive in its markets and operationally excellent in its corporate communications.

To that end, our goal is to provide timely input and recommendations to key executives regarding issues of significant importance affecting Mountaire’s business priorities.

We provide timely information through internal communications tools – such as the TQS Express corporate newsletter – and externally using the company website.

How we do it

The Communication and Community Relations Department works to develop a strategic direction for Mountaire’s outreach and engagement with state and federal government officials, as well as issue management.

With this goal in mind, we establish relationships with key policy makers and support public policy positions, along with third party alliances,such as our professional trade associations.

Participation with our membership organizations is a high priority for our department, and working with them helps our company remain focused and engaged in the process.
