- How long have you been with Mountaire? One year nine months
- What motivated you to join the military? I wanted to leave and do something.
- Why did you choose the service branch you joined? It had the most options for careers and enlistment time.
- Did you earn any medals or honors during your service? If so, which ones and for what? Bronze star during Afghanistan for maintenance and logistic support.
- What was the most valuable lesson you learned? Its always about people- take care of them and that don’t necessarily mean candy and ice cream.
- What was the best and worst “military food” you were served? Best- Steak shrimp lobster with all the “fixins” in Iraq/ Worst my first MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) in basic training the “OMELET”
- Tell us about a funny, poignant, or moving story you experienced during your service. In the Army we mess things up fix our mess up and then celebrate fixing our mess-up!!!
- Tell us an interesting fact about yourself. I have parachuted out of a Huey UH-1, Black hawk, and Chinook helicopters.
